Jeff founded Fire Door Solutions in 2011 and grew to become the national leader of compliance services for passive fire protection systems for healthcare facilities. Headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, Fire Door Solutions has grown to over 200 employees supporting over 1,000 hospitals nationwide. As the healthcare market has widely accepted the company’s EOC and Life Safety services, Life Safety Compliance Solutions was created in late 2017 and is headquartered in Nashville Tennessee and provides Mock Surveys, Life Safety Assessments/Life Safety Plan Design and Updates and Ligature Assessments for healthcare facilities. Building on the success of Fire Door Solutions and Life Safety Compliance Solutions, Jeff Perry created Facilities Management Solutions in 2018 and was developed to address the growing need for skilled and qualified Directors of Facilities Management for the healthcare industry. Jeff Perry’s commitment to cost effective unparalleled quality, irrational service, sacrifice knowing others’ lives depend on our lives and lightening the burden of the day to day healthcare facilities management and compliance has set the stage for a very bright future for Facilities Management Solutions.  Jeff has a passion for service born out of 15-years in starting and managing multi-million-dollar resorts and conference centers. An entrepreneur at heart, he loves mining for unmet service needs and bringing a top-shelf service enterprise to fruition. He has done this with the high-end resorts, with Avascend Healthcare Hospitality, and now with Fire Door Solutions, Life Safety Compliance and Facilities Management Solutions. Jeff holds a finance degree from George Mason University.

Mickey Eberts

Senior Adviser

Mickey has 20 years of healthcare facilities management, consulting, and project management experience. Mr. Eberts is currently employed by Bernhard Energy, as the Vice President of Asset Management. In addition, Mr. Eberts surveys the standards in the Comprehensive Accreditation Manual/Accreditation Manual for Hospitals, Ambulatory Care and Critical Access Hospitals for The Joint Commission. Prior to joining the Joint Commission, Mr. Eberts led facility management operations for a large national nonprofit healthcare organization.  Mr. Eberts’ last 3 positions were executive administrator over support service operations including Engineering, Medical Equipment, Planning, Design and Construction, Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Safety, Emergency Management and Security operations.  Mr. Eberts’ formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Clayton State University and a MBA from Strayer University.  Mickey is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and American Society for Healthcare Engineering

Miles Franz

Executive VP, Sales & Marketing

Miles joined Fire Door Solutions in late 2017 as the Executive Vice President of Sales. He brings more than 20 years of sales experience to Fire Door Solutions, Life Safety Compliance Solutions and Facilities Management Solutions including market entry & development, complex solution sales, executive client engagement, sales team development, and sales methodology development & implementation. Miles is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Business with an Information Technology Emphasis.

Debra Jodry, CHSP

Executive Vice President

Debra joined Life Safety Compliance Solutions in 2018 as the Executive Vice President, and brings to us 30 years’ experience in Healthcare Facility Management. Her extensive background in Regulatory Compliance, as it relates to understanding and interpretation of the Joint Commission, DNV and HFAP Standards, specifically the Environment of Care, Life Safety and Emergency Management Chapters are invaluable to Facilities Management Solutions. She is a member of American Society of Healthcare Engineers, and Certified Healthcare Safety Professional.

Jimmy Castro

Executive Vice President

Jimmy joined Facility Management Solutions in 2018 as the Executive Vice President and brings to us 20 years’ experience in Healthcare Barrier Management. He specializes in Firestopping, Damper Inspections, CMS and Joint Commission Surveys.




Tommie Downs

Vice President of Operations

Tommie joined Life Safety Compliance Solutions in 2018 as the Vice President of Operations. He brings years of experience in Healthcare Facility Management. Always committed to cost-savings, he has a strong understanding of building teams around in-sourcing/out-sourcing models. He has a strong background in Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression and will be focusing his efforts in these areas.
